Radio and Cancer

So for as a favor I filled in to interview Canadian rock band Silverstein a couple weeks ago. That was pretty fun, got to talk to the bassist. If you haven’t already go check them out and more of music like theirs at http://www.krradio.com/ . It’s a music streaming website and you can join for free to listen to music. :) We’ve come a long way from Napster. Haha
Anyway, on to more important matters. I’ve been thinking about this for a while now and I think I’m ready to make it happen. I know a woman who works at Arnold Palmer Hospital and we were talking about it and it would be a great idea to boost the self esteem of kids with cancer. There are kids and teenagers with cancer that might not want to look like a soccer mom. I want to schedule a meeting to talk with someone there to see if that’s something they’d be interested in; offering wigs to people who want a dread wig. This doesn’t necessarily have to be for kids either, I’m just thinking I’ll start there and see if anyone likes the idea and if not I’ll move up to the adults cause hey, not just kids want to have fun with their hair. I’ll update about that after the meeting.
