One Day It’ll Be Me!

So June 6th was the start of the Premier Orlando Hair Show! I went for one out of the 2 days I got free tickets to. The free tickets made me kind of glad that they screwed me over last year on an extensions class.

Last year I signed up to be certified in So.Cap Fusion Extensions. Originally I was going for the cheaper class =P BUT the day I showed up, they told me they weren’t holding classes that day, even though I had already paid for my class and my ticket said that particular date on it….long story short, I got free tickets for this year’s show instead of a refund…Hey, works for me. I got certified with the company I wanted to in the end anyway.  So.Cap is awesome.

Certified Extensionist…I like the sound of that. ;)

Anyway I went this year and was very disappointed in the lack of extensions booths. This made me wonder how much it would be to have my own booth there. Can you imagine? Dread falls, wigs, and extensions all at a salon based premier show. Personally from working in salons I don’t know if the salon world is ready for dread extensions and fake hair, but why not. Why not let it be me who makes it a big deal? Extensions are already a big deal, and I know for a fact there are hairdressers out there that know about it, and know how to install them, considering a lot of my customers go to salons to get their dreads installed.

But nevertheless I did, as usual, enjoy the actual shows taking place. I got to admit SexyHair always puts on a good show.

I don’t think I’ll ever get big enough to have my own show…but wouldn’t that be cool. Hehe maybe one day. A girl can dream right?
