Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
How do I take care of my dread falls?– When you’re not wearing your falls store them in a bag or hang them up away from things. Never brush your dread or braided falls! If something happens to you falls and they need repairs you can send them back to us and any small damages will be free. If there is severe damage we will charge accordingly.
If the elastic or lace breaks, what do I do? – You can choose to get your falls mounted on elastic or lace. If either become stretched out too much or break you can send them back to us free of charge as it is a minor damage. Most of the time if you take apart your falls you can pretty much see how it was put together and buy the materials from Wal-Mart or a fabric store and repair them yourself.
Can I wash my falls? – Yes. But it’s not recommended. If you falls start to smell or you know they got dirty somehow, hand wash them in diluted gentle shampoo. Make sure not to untangle or condition your falls, when you’re done hang them up and let them air dry. DO NOT blow dry!
Can I wash my hair extensions? – Yes. But it’s not recommended. If you’re going to wash your extensions while they’re not attached to your head then just follow the same instructions for washing your falls. If you’re going to wash them while they’re in your hair try your best to avoid getting the entire dread wet because they get very heavy and it can be pretty uncomfortable. Try to mostly get your scalp, and again, gentle non-conditioning shampoo.
