How to Style Your Dread Extensions into a Ponytail!
I get a lot of questions about how to manage all that hair when wearing dread extensions. I will agree that especially with long ones in the summer you often want an alternative to wearing it down…Of course there’s your basic ponytail. Either find a giant scrunchie or an extra dread lying around, flip your head over so your dreads hang in front of you (it’s easier this way if you have the extra dread) Place the extra piece across the back of your head to where you want your pony tail to hang. Flip head over, tie a knot with the extra dread. Simple :)
Knots are your best friend!! If your extensions are long enough, or you have a couple left over from your set, you dont even have to use a pony tail holder. Let’s start off with half up half down.
(Dont mind the scarf) What she’s done here is taken the two dreads above her ears and pulled them over the rest of the dreads that lay behind her head. Quick easy, and out of the way. *Dreads made by iKandiHairDesign Auburn (30) and Blonde (613) blended dreads. Gorgeous!
